Enterprise Cloud Modernization

Enterprise Cloud Modernization

A phased approach to moving an on-premises application portfolio to a governed cloud platform with automated infrastructure and delivery.

The Business Challenge

An organization running dozens of business applications in an aging data center faces rising hardware costs, slow environment provisioning, and manual deployments that require after-hours change windows. Infrastructure is configured by hand, so environments drift apart and issues are difficult to reproduce.

Leadership wants to move to the cloud, but the portfolio includes tightly coupled applications, limited documentation, and systems that cannot tolerate extended downtime.

Solution Approach

The solution begins with a portfolio assessment that groups applications by business criticality, dependencies, and technical fit, then assigns each a migration path: rehost, replatform, or refactor.

• Design a cloud landing zone with standardized networking, identity, security guardrails, and tagging
• Define all infrastructure as code, with peer review and automated validation
• Build CI/CD pipelines that deploy consistently across development, test, and production
• Migrate applications in planned waves, starting with lower-risk workloads
• Implement centralized monitoring, logging, and cost dashboards

Key Capabilities

Outcomes & Benefits

• Environment provisioning moves from manual tickets to automated, repeatable deployments
• Configurations stay consistent across every environment
• Releases shift from after-hours change windows to routine, automated deployments
• Cloud usage and cost become visible by application and team
